HYGIENIC BATCH MIXING

HIGH SHEAR BATCH MIXERS

Our Rotosolver® and Rotostat® for high shear applications, and the Rotomixx® and Rotomaxx II for low speed agitation are constructed of all-stainless steel and comply with strict sanitary and hygienic standards. 

With all-stainless steel housing, shaft, mixing head, and motor, the Rotosolver disperser and Rotostat emulsifier are specifically engineered to wet out, disperse, emulsify, or hydrate powders for 100% ingredient utilization. Producing superior liquid/liquid or solid/liquid dispersions, both optimize the balance between shear rates, particle size reduction, and tank circulation.

LOW SHEAR AGITATION

The Rotomixx portable/tote batch mixer and the Rotomaxx II low-speed agitator are crafted entirely from stainless steel, ensuring durability and preventing open tank contamination from paint chips or corrosion. The Rotomaxx II is particularly noteworthy for its ability to handle higher torque requirements, making it ideal for mixing and holding tank volumes of up to 60,000 gallons.

LABORATORY & PILOT PLANT MIXING

The Benchmix® series of laboratory mixers is designed to effectively wet out, hydrate, and disperse even the most challenging solids into liquids. The Benchmix benchtop mixer can handle volumes up to 20 liters, while the pilot scale RS-02 is capable of processing up to 20 gallons. Both models feature interchangeable Rotosolver or Rotostat heads, ensuring consistent and repeatable results as you transition from development to full-scale production.

DYNASHEAR INLINE HIGH SHEAR MIXER/EMULSIFER

The Dynashear® is engineered to blend, dissolve, disperse, and emulsify both miscible and immiscible fluids with remarkable efficiency. Its innovative dual-stage, tandem head design merges the advantages of axial and radial stages, resulting in superior shear and flow properties. Meeting the stringent 3-A sanitary standard #36-01 (TPV), the Dynashear is capable of achieving an average droplet size of 2-3 microns, with 98% of the distribution under 5 microns in just one pass.

BOSTON SHEARMILL WET MILL/HOMOGENIZER

The Boston Shearmill® features an all-stainless steel construction, including the housing, shaft, mixing head, and motor, making it ideal for various wet milling, homogenizing, shearing, dispersing, grinding, and finishing applications that require reducing hard particles or droplets to less than 1 micron. It excels at crushing, chopping, shredding, and grinding, and is built to withstand bumps and pressure spikes, ensuring reliable continuous inline processing 24/7. The design complies with 3-A #36-01 (TPV), USDA, and FDA standards, delivering high-intensity milling for finer emulsions and dispersions.

ADMIXER STATIC MIXER AND BLENDER

The Admixer is a stationary, low-shear pipeline mixer that operates without any moving parts or mechanical seals. Made from 316 stainless steel, it is capable of processing any combination of miscible fluids. The Admixer ensures continuous processing with complete product uniformity and distribution of sensitive materials. It is cost-effective, requires minimal maintenance, and complies with 3-A #35-04 (TPV) and USDA-Dairy sanitary standards.

POWDER INDUCTION SYSTEMS

BLENDING POWDERS INTO LIQUID

Our extensive knowledge in mixing and ingredients has enabled us to create a versatile product range that addresses any mixing challenge, particularly in blending powders into liquids. Our high-efficiency, hygienic equipment for powder induction, inline mixing and milling, and in-tank batch processing is engineered to make your tasks easier. We are so confident in our scale-up capabilities that we offer an exclusive process assurance on all our powder induction and dispersion systems.

POWDER INDUCTION AND DISPERSION SYSTEM

The Fastfeed powder induction and dispersion system provides swift atmospheric powder conveying, feeding, and dispersion in a semi-automated, integrated setup. This portable, skid-mounted system features an ergonomic work table and hopper, a control panel, a two-stage rotor/stator high-speed emulsifier, and a specially designed liquid ring pump. It ensures controlled feed rates of up to 450 lbs. (204 kg) per minute and can handle up to 75% maximum solids.

PIC & OPTIFEED POWDER INDUCTION SYSTEMS

PIC Powder Induction System: Ensures quick introduction and thorough wetting of dry solids and liquid ingredients. Features include an ergonomic waist-height work table and hopper, a control panel, and a powder suction pump capable of vacuum conveying up to 200 lbs. (91 kg) per minute with up to 75% solids.

Optifeed OES-V200 and OES-V250 Atmospheric Powder Induction Systems: Utilize vacuum pump technology for rapid introduction and wetting of dry solids and liquid ingredients. These systems process between 50-200 lbs. per minute with up to 75% solids from an ergonomic waist-high hopper. The Optifeed OES-E200 Model uses an educator system to process up to 200 lbs. (91 kg) per minute with up to 25% solids.
