History

Since its inception in 1989, Admix has been at the forefront of developing cutting-edge mixing solutions tailored to overcome the most complex challenges in mixing, blending, dispersing, and homogenizing. Our distinction lies in the fusion of our advanced mixing technologies with customized scale-up assurances and in-depth application and ingredient knowledge.

In a strategic move that marked a significant milestone, Admix Europe ApS, expanded its legacy by acquiring Diaf Pilvad, a company with a rich history dating back to 1912, in April 2022. This acquisition has not only merged two storied entities but has also rebranded Diaf Pilvad under the Admix Europe ApS name. Together, they now operate seamlessly from a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility nestled in the heart of Fredensborg, Denmark. This union symbolizes our commitment to innovation, trustworthiness, and support, ensuring that our clients receive unparalleled solutions and service from a team that now harbors over a century of combined experience and expertise.

Mike Rizzo, CEO

Mike joined Admix in January 2020 after serving three years as a Director on the Admix Board. He leads the development and execution of the company’s business strategies, vision, and mission. He is committed to continuous improvement and growing the Admix portfolio of innovative mixing technologies, services, and markets served. The company’s long-standing core values of fairness, respect, integrity, accountability, and trust resonate deeply with Mike, as well as upholding the Admix promise of going the extra mile to exceed customer expectations.

A seasoned executive, Mike has held CEO and President positions at several global manufacturing and distribution companies in the New England region where he focused on market growth and implementing operational excellence and practices.

Mike currently serves on corporate boards focused particularly on 100% ESOP structures. Prior to Admix, he was CEO at Artel Video Systems, President of the US operations of Cylon Energy, and President of Schleuniger Inc., the division of the Schleuniger Group in Switzerland. Mike holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from Pepperdine University.

Dan Cameron, CFO

Dan joined Admix in January 2014 and is the company’s Chief Financial Officer and is also Treasurer on the Admix Board. In Dan’s role as CFO, he oversees all aspects of the company's finance function including accounting and financial reporting, financial planning, and analysis. He is responsible for the financial management and health of the company and its subsidiary in Denmark, Admix Europe ApS. As Admix is a 100% employee-owned company, Dan is responsible for the administration of the Employee Stock Ownership Plan. In addition to the financial aspect of his role, he also oversees the company’s Information Technology Operations.

Prior to Admix, Dan was with the Advisory Line of Service at PwC where he held various Financial and Technology Consulting roles to the Commercial and Federal Government Sectors. He led project teams supporting regional financial statement audit clients and multiple global enterprises. Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Providence College.

Tim Dining, COO

Admix COO since February 2022, Tim is responsible for the full product realization function – from design and documentation, through production planning, supply chain management, production, qualification, packaging, and shipment. Tim brings essential knowledge to Admix with his experience implementing business systems, leading teams to reduce lead times, and improving gross margins for a range of make-to-order technical products.

Tim has held leadership positions in Operations and General Management for NH manufacturing companies for more than 30 years. Past positions include General Manager of Jewell Instruments, LLC, a manufacturer of precision measurement devices and meters; President of Sealite USA, a manufacturer of marine and aviation lighting products; and President/ CEO of Greenerd Press and Machine CO., Inc., a manufacturer of hydraulic presses and press systems.

Tim earned his BS in Psychology from Dartmouth College and his MBA with a focus in Operations Management from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics at UNH. He also holds a CPIM certification. He is a member of the Board of Advisors to the NH Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the Board of Directors of the NH Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NHMEP). Dining is also a member of the Engineering Advisory Committee for Pinkerton Academy’s CTE program.

Kara Martakos, Director of HR

Kara joined Admix in September 2021 as the Human Resources Director and is responsible for overseeing HR functions for our locations in the US and Denmark. Kara and her team are passionate about creating a culture of collaboration and implementing change to achieve workforce excellence.

Practicing human resources in a variety of industries including manufacturing, health care, and food service management has provided her with experience she applies to her current role. Kara is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University.

Santino Zingales, Director of Sales

Santino joins Admix with a distinguished career in sales, specifically specializing in mixing and blending equipment. His extensive background in sales strategy, channel management, and business development positions him as a valuable addition to the Admix team.

Commenting on his new role, Santino said, “With years of experience selling mixing and blending equipment, I am looking forward to taking on this new role and helping Admix reach new heights. Admix is a global company and while I will mainly be focused on domestic growth, I look forward to supporting the global sales initiatives in the future.”
