Admix Celebrates Grand Opening of Advanced Technology Center

Admix Opens Advanced Technology Center with C1D1 Lab
3:32

Admix is proud to announce the official opening of our new Advanced Technology Center (ATC), a dedicated facility built to support real-world industrial mixing trials, process development, and challenging customer applications.

The grand opening and ribbon cutting event brought together employees, customers, partners, and community members to celebrate this exciting milestone. More than a new facility, the ATC represents our continued investment in hands-on testing, technical expertise, and customer-focused process support.

And yes, our motto says it best:

Hazardous materials don’t scare us. Bad mixing does.

A New Home for Real-World Mixing Trials

The Advanced Technology Center was designed to help customers test, validate, and improve their mixing processes before making major equipment or process decisions.

From high shear mixing and powder induction to dispersion, emulsification, particle reduction, and challenging formulations, the ATC gives customers the opportunity to work through process questions in a controlled testing environment.

Instead of guessing how a mixer will perform, customers can see results firsthand using their own materials and process goals.

Featuring a C1D1 Lab for Hazardous Material Testing

One of the most important features of the ATC is our Class 1 Div 1 (C1D1) lab, designed to support testing involving hazardous materials and demanding applications.

This capability expands the types of materials and processes we can evaluate, giving customers a safer, more practical way to test complex formulations and better understand how mixing technology performs under real-world conditions.

For manufacturers working with challenging ingredients, volatile materials, or difficult-to-process formulations, this lab provides a valuable resource for process validation and scale-up confidence.

Built to Solve Tough Mixing Problems

The ATC was created for the kinds of mixing problems that do not always have simple answers.

Common challenges customers bring to us include:

  • Powders that will not wet out properly
  • Fisheyes, clumps, or agglomerates
  • Long batch times
  • Poor dispersion or inconsistent particle size
  • Unstable emulsions
  • Difficult scale-up from lab to production
  • Process inefficiencies that create waste, rework, or downtime

By testing materials in the ATC, our team can help identify the right mixing approach, evaluate equipment options, and provide practical recommendations based on actual performance.

A Milestone Worth Celebrating

The grand opening event was a proud moment for our entire team. It celebrated not only the opening of a new lab, but also the people, planning, and hard work that brought the Advanced Technology Center to life.

We are grateful to everyone who attended the ribbon cutting and helped us mark this important step forward.

The ATC is officially open, and we are excited to use this new space to help customers solve their toughest mixing challenges with greater confidence.

See What’s Possible at the ATC

Whether you are developing a new formulation, improving an existing process, troubleshooting a production issue, or validating equipment before scale-up, the Advanced Technology Center is built to help.

Hazardous materials don’t scare us. Bad mixing does.
